Am I the only person who thinks our current Administration is to the Right of most Americans
   
on many issues?


Why isn't the White House spearheading Marijuana legalization.

Closing Guantanamo

Pulling out of Afghanistan

Making taxes more progressive (esp payroll taxes)

Gay rights (which are gaining steam everywhere but 1600 Pennsylvania ave it seems)

demilitarizing the police force.

Overturning draconian anti-terrorist laws.

Not assassinating Americans living abroad.

Death Penalty. (which seems to be losing ground on the state level)

Supporting Unions... (you know the kind teachers belong to)

Public works projects to help get Americans back to work.

Min income for all Americans till the economic crisis is over (Something even Nixon supported)

feel free to add your own....


I think the White House isn't leading is an understatement... sometimes they are a dozen steps behind the rest of America and honestly sometimes (for example education and assassinating Americans) they seem like Republicans on Steroids.


Maybe they should spend less time watching fox news and more time remembering what got them elected in the first place.

If you really believe that Dear Leader is to the right of most Americans, I'm not sure you can properly be labeled a "person."  You might be a cup of dirt or the hanging loose thread on the hem of a peasant blouse, but reality and you have nothing in common.
