According to AP, they have taken it down. The N Iowa Tea Party requested it be taken down and the owners of the sign have done so.

The best part is this,Des Moines is probably one of the more liberal parts of the state cinsidering the local State paper and colleges there.

It ain't nothing like the liberal mecca of Johnson Country (Iowa City).  The burbs in the Des Moines area have grown so much that they're making liberal Des Moines less relevant, which is very good news.
