The "network" that let's Nugent and Chuck Norris regularly spread their lies....

Is upset at Jimmy Buffett for saying the Gulf Oil Disaster is Bush/Cheney's legacy. Yesterday on FB the RW parrotheads were railing on Jimmy to "shut up and sing". Can't have it both way folks. You're a fan or you aren't. Speak Out Jimmy! One Love, One Ocean!

2. I see outright lies posted on DU,

they are also 'regularly' spread and allowed to stand.

What do you want on your tombstone?

4. Right.... Links? n/t

Give them a chance to post them. The lies on DU are more numerous than the truths.

7. DU isn't Fox News troll

Your beloved Fox News is supposed to be a "news" channel. Remember their laughable motto "Fair and Balanced"? I was pointing out the hypocrisy of bringing Ted (Draft Dodger) Nugent and TV bad boy Chuckie Norris on to spread their hateful (and untruthful) opinions yet get upset when a real star dares to state an opinion.

Now go back under the bridge. I think you have a pizza delivery coming soon.

By definition, opinions are neither truth nor lies.

12. Post links, please. I want to see these 'lies'.

Oh, wait, you're just making shit up.

Tick, tick, tick...

If they do post links to lies on DU, it would be scrubbed. Truth is anathema to DUmmies.

That would be a really good idea for a sticky here.  A compilation of all the complete bull shit with links to their lies that are easily verifiable .... the tale of the liar who posted presidential IQ's along with it's admission comes to mind.

Then when a mole wants to come out they could throw that whole thing up there via cut and paste.

I don't know. You want to show a campfire with a lie in it, just go to any section at DU and pick a thread at random.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

I agree.  Something that lurkers can see, and ponder.
"Timid men prefer the calm of despotism to the tempestuous sea of Liberty." - Thomas Jefferson

"All you have to do is look straight and see the road, and when you see it, don't sit looking at it - walk!" -Ayn Rand

"Those that trust God with their safety must yet use proper means for their safety, otherwise they tempt Him, and do not trust Him.  God will provide, but so must we also." - Matthew Henry, Commentary on 2 Chronicles 32, from Matthew Henry's Commentary on the Whole Bible

"These anti-gun fools are more dangerous to liberty than street criminals or foreign spies."--Theodore Haas, Dachau Survivor

Chase her.
Chase her even when she's yours.
That's the only way you'll be assured to never lose her.

Yeah but for a quick retort with lots of links to outrageous provable stuff (not subjective kind of posts) it would be good to have them in one easy to find place.

Funny Ted Nugent I am sure was discussing second amendment issues. Being an NRA board member and a lifelong hunter and enthusiast he is very qualified to comment. Buffet on the other hand can keep wasting away AFAC.

racist – A statement of surrender during an argument. When two people or disputants are engaged in an acrimonious debate, the side that first says “Racist!” has conceded defeat. Synonymous with saying “Resign” during a chess game, or “Uncle” during a schoolyard fight. Ori

Biggest lie of all at DU.... Any claim of normal or above normal intelligence.
All the great things are simple, and many can be expressed in a single word: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope.
Winston Churchill
