MSNBC Just Aired A Commercial For Fox News/Fox Business During Keith's Show.........

I thought I saw this yesterday - but then thought I was only dreaming. I just caught the end yesterday and wasn't really paying attention. But today - I just saw the whole thing. A commercial for Fox News/Fox Business complete with Hannity, Beck, O'Reilly. I just don't believe it. Why would MSNBC air such a commercial? Why would Fox buy commercial time on MSNBC? I can't believe it.

It's a worthless/meaningless little candle flame, but I had to bring it over for this post.

10. Someone in the KOEB posted this last night

but others didn't have it in other markets.

I look at it as either being part of a "package" where the cable company airs a set number of FOX's spots randomly, across all time slots, or whatever the package's parameters are.

Either that, or FOX decided to run ads for their sorry ass FOX Business channel on a Keith's show, because it knows he has great ratings.

1. It might be your local cable provider...
   ...they cross-promote other channels regularly.

:bs:

I've never seen that!

Desperation, because nobody else would buy the air time?

FOX Business probably has a ROS (rotate on schedule) deal with the cable company. Advertisers have people looking out for ROS violations like having a competitor ad immediately on before or after and being billed for the low schmucky rating stations/channels.  My money is that the head of FOX Business marketing asks for "Make Good" spots if they find out it is on a low rating cable channel like PMSNBC.
