Hollywood Liberals/Progressives

The Hollywood elite are predominately of Jewish descent. That said, why is it that they support the Progressive/ Liberal agenda when Progressives and Liberals are generally anti-semitic??

Maybe they aren't all smart.

Maybe they play to the crowd that's the easiest to seperate from their money.

Maybe they like playing DUmmies like a fiddle.

Maybe they really are smart...just to smart for their own good...you know...the old "vote against their own best interest thing".

Maybe they're just sucking up to the liberals in power.

...and finally, like most DUmmies, maybe they're just born that way.

As you can tell, I'm just as confused as you.

I think that perhaps it's the various roles they play and it gets them too confused as to their real self and their true identity. Look at how many of them have had several marriages, drug and alcohol addiction problems, anger issues, etc.

So do American Jews generally, it's not unique to the Hollyweird set.  It mainly has to do with the American Jewish population coming from a context of being both highly urbanized and highly centralized in the Liberal bastions of the Northeastern seaboard cities, which until the post-War California explosion was the bastion of Socialist, Communist, and Leftist thought in the US.  Of course a lot of their intelligentsia was far left and fled to those locations to escape from the Czar, the Kaiser, Russian landlords in Poland, and various other people in power over Jewish populations who weren't all that keen on revising the existing social order to the overlords' own disadvantage, and that Leftist intelligentsia informed the American Jewish cultural tradition.
