One of the more interesting cars I have owned was a very old unsafe at any speed.
What ever the name, the engine was in the trunk and the gas tank under the drivers seat.
To start the engine I had to turn the key to engage, then remove the air filter and put two wires together, replace the air filter, get back into the drivers seat and head on out.
What fun, this auto got me through Nursing School, drove me to the Super Market and some how kept passing the state inspections..
No air bags and no big time electronics, sort of driving an in closed motorcycle.
Ralph Nader had no idea what this small car could do, good gas millage, and as long as the tires held up, it would run forever.
