Tax, baby, tax

Tax the **** out of oil corporations, insurance corporations, banking corporations, food corporations...ANY corporation that ****s over the people.

Remember, ExxonMobil paid ZERO income tax last year. How the **** is that reasonable?

Guess who would cover the cost of the taxes? Prices for the end consumer would go up and then you simpletons who called for the taxes would be bitching and moaning about how the corporations are 'robber barons' and call for nationalization.

4. Put a monster tax on Derivatives and Off-The-Books Credit Swaps...

..this would bring in Trillions in needed revenue overnight and at the same time stop the vampire Hedge Funds that are sucking the life blood out of the world's economy.

Problem solved.

But we all know it won't happen.... and we know WHY it won't happen.

There's just one tiiiiny thing wrong with that (well, there's a lot more than just one, but...). You can only do it once. Once all of that money is spent, what then? Those eeeeeeevil rich corporations that you just love to hate so much won't be so rich anymore, and a lot of them won't even be corporations anymore because they would either go out of business or move overseas, and then what? Where will the allmighty government get the money then?

Besides, even if every single person in this country (that includes you too, idiots) were taxed 100%, the government still couldn't pay off the debt, and of course the government isn't going to stop their insane spending either.

I say tax every one of those filthy non tax paying leftist foundations and family trusts.  Tax them to nothing and take away every trust fund from them.  Start with the kennedys and the salzburgers.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

If there was a stupid tax (Besides the self-imposed one for spending anything more than your random small change on lottery tickets), we'd clean the Left out of pizza and Cheetos money in two weeks.

I love how these idiots keep repeating that same erroneous magazine article.  The author even issues a correction to his original article Corrected article with the following:

Quote
My mistake was in thinking that these figures somehow reflected actual tax benefits and liabilities. So what we should have written was that ExxonMobil "recorded" no U.S. income taxes for 2009 instead of "paid." All you re-bloggers out there, please note the clarification. Mea culpa.

If you look at the annual report you may notice that Exxon paid almost 26 BILLION dollars in sales tax, 35 Billion in other taxes and 15 BILLION in income tax.

That doesn't look like zero taxes to me, but then I'm not a DUmmie.

25 years ago we had Ronald Reagan, Johnny Cash and Bob Hope.  Now we have Obama, no hope and no cash.

More evidence that these dumbasses are about nothing but getting something for nothing. They can't get a law punishing people for *gasp* expecting to be compensated for their goods and services, so they'll take the underhanded route - punish them by confiscating their money in the form of taxes. That way, they can retrieve the money they had to pay by having it redistributed back through entitlements.

Why be coy? Just admit you want to enslave part of the population to provide your living for you. This, among many other reasons, is why I don't consider the term "un-American" at all inappropriate when describing these cretins.

Thanks for that up there, Scuba Guy.

Amazingly, the bonfire never lit.  Just 4 responses and it's about 16 hours old.  What's going on over there?
