0Bama was elected because he was not Bush, he was not Clinton, he was not a Washington insider.  He did not get elected for what he was, but for what he wasn't.  Americans in general did not know about Chicago Style politics, at least not to depth that Illinoisans did.

Well Democrat if you hate it so much, get out! Sorry for having some pride in my state, I could of chosen to live any where after I graduate with my masters degree but I choose to stick with my down home roots here! I've been to the east and west coast and they can keep it, it sounds like you would be better suited there! Obama was elected because a majority of the electorate wanted to prove how "unracist" they were.  The sorry thing is that so many are actually dumb enough to think that voting on the basis of race makes them "unracist."

I wish I could discover who the author is.  Not only an amazing statement but also quite prophetic.  I fear that many will fail to realize the deep meaning that this small paragraph holds.  At least until its too late, only then will they see it.
