Asked about the controversy, Moss said it seems to scare people when African-Americans assert their race.
“No one ever would tell the German evangelicals, ‘Stop that Oktoberfest! You stop eating that sausage!’ You would never say that because we assume, of course, they want to celebrate their heritage,†Moss said.
