Just so ya know I wasn't one of those people you were referring to.  I was just funning, but I don't want to be thought of as one of them.  Everyone knows the world will cease to exist as the Mayans foretold..... :-)

Too late it is all ready rolling along and no one seems to notice.

Dear old Mom went to get her license renewed and at the age of 87 had to bring her birth certificate to be copied and stored some where for some reason.  She has had a license in her State for 60 some odd years, a passport, current, and her dependents military card-----However, non of that mattered, they wanted her birth certificate, nothing else would do.

She wanted to ask why her birth certificate was needed but as there was a line of impatient people out the door so she said nothing.  Only after getting her new license and driving home did she remember they never checked her sight.

Hang on kids, this will be coming to your town next.

I agree.  Its the fastest way to legalize the current illegal workforce and bring in 20 mil new taxpayers.  The fact they get more power and we lose more rights for them is just icing on the cake.

Except; the skill level for the work that most illegals do wouldn't make them taxPAYERS under the current tax structure.  They would simply be a continued net drain on the Treasury, only "legitimized" by amnesty.

I can definitely see how that would become true and reality.  Essentially they are here for good at that point with no real hope of a conservative political strategy to get rid of them as we should through deportation.

Ehh well, at least I managed to experience the USA while it was still, mostly free anyway.

And many of them with families would qualify for the EITC welfare program, and would be an even bigger drain on taxpayers.

I was just getting ready to post the same thing.  They have a tendancy to have a lot of kids.

Put citizenship status on the card as a condition for using it as voter ID, that'll kill the whole idea.
