New Zealand's 'Naked Tourist' Admitted to Mental Hospital After Bar AttackA tourist who stripped in New Zealand after workmen whistled at her has been admitted to a mental health hospital.The Israeli woman was arrested after allegedly assaulting a bar worker on North Island. She is accused of stubbing out a cigarette on the staff member's face in the tourist town of Coromandel.She appeared in Hamilton District Court charged with assault with intent to injure and was remanded to Waikato Hospital's mental health unit.Last week, the woman staged a roadside striptease in front of road workers in Kerikeri.She was about to use a cash machine when the men apparently whistled at her.The vacationer calmly stripped off her clothes and then withdrew some money, before getting dressed and walking away.
