Original message

The Dems need to tell the Rethugs to "**** off."

If you've watched any of this morning's bullshit, you must be aware that it's nothing more than show biz.

Nothing useful is going to come out of this.

The majority of Americans aren't watching.

The ReThugs are getting TV face time they don't deserve.

If one more Dem says "My friend" to (some Rethug) I'm going to puke.

The Dems have a majority. Why don't they just do what the Thugs have been doing for the past 30 years? Why don't they just tell the ReThugs to go the **** away?

The Thugs will never agree to anything the Dems want. It's past time for the Dems to take names, kick ass and tell the Thugs to "GO THE **** AWAY."

President Obama, WAKE UP! These people are out to destroy you and the Democratic Party. You're in a war. FIGHT!

1. Oh, snap!

Obama just told McCain "We're not campaigning anymore, John. The election is over".

A great "**** Off" if I ever heard one!

2. It's a real soap opera alright

The Dems keep bending over to pick up the metaphorical bar of soap, and the GOP keeps screwing 'em in the A$$ every time.

It's beginning to feel like some kind of bizarre exercise in infinity.

3. Sure, tell the Repubs to go away - big deal

it won't do any good until you convince the moderate Dems and their voters to jump on board.

4. You really think the Democratic leadership wants real reform?

You really think it's the Republicans that have stopped meaningful reform? At this point I have seen nothing to indicate this to be the case.

If this is the DU take on it, sounds like the Dems are coming out clearly on the short end of the stick.

Actually the Republicans are reading highlighted portions of the bills to Obama, and making him respond to it.....and he's not happy about it.......its not going like he planned, i.e., its not all about HIM..........

Best time IMHO, when Obama calls the 5000 pages of Hell-Care bill as a prop....a PROP.  This is what you are there to discuss smarterest man in the universe. Obumbler is losing every time the Rs read the bill and he says something dumb.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Yep, he keeps sayin' "that's not what we're here for". What a maroon! What a nincompoop!

It's not going as he had planned, he wanted to discredit the Pubs and is doing nothing more than looking like Hugo! This will not end well for him.

What these idiots don't understand is if the numbers were there (the majority of people actually wanted this atrocity) then the dems would have already passed this shit.  They know the public is not behind it, they do their own polling.  They want cover and the republicans either voting for it or using them as an excuse not to pass it is their cover.

No, that is not true. They don't have public support, because they are far enough left. They have to have the public option/single payer and then they'll get the support of everyone. [/DU mode]

Well, actually it's in there. "Bummer" even said that private insurance costs will go up in his bill, I think it was 10-13%, so the public would go for his ideas rather than pay the higher cost. Sounds like single payer to me!

ETA: ( mine will likely get taxed to the tune uf 40%, as I have one of those so called Cadillac policies. When that happens, neither my employer nor I will not be able to afford to keep it. )
