Former President Bill Clinton Hospitalized in New York City
« on: February 11, 2010, 03:37:31 PM »

Former President Bill Clinton was rushed to a Manhattan hospital late this afternoon, sources tell ABC News.

Clinton, 63, was transported to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan for a condition related to his heart.

ABC News' chief political correspondent George Stephanopoulos reported that sources said he was taken to the hospital "likely for a stent procedure."

Sources on Capital Hill tell ABC News that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was seen leaving the Oval Office a short time ago and did not seem "too concerned" or "in a rush."

Clinton underwent quadruple bypass surgery at the same hospital where he is now a patient four and a half years ago.

I wouldn't want to wish that on anyone.  ABC radio says it has something to do with his heart.

Still no website link.  I did pick a cheesy picture to go along with the story, though. :evillaugh:

Yeah, I'd like for Slick Willie to hang around for at least another 2-3 presidential elections.

I mean, every time he touches an election for the Dems it turns to shit for that candidate.  :lmao:

This not something that is likely to kill him.  My mom had the same procedure done this past Monday.   She has so many stents, I think they were putting a stent in a stent.  She went in on Monday and was home on Tuesday.

She is 79 and had her first heart attack and quadruple heart by-pass in 1990 when she was 59.   She has had tons of procedures like this in those 20 years.  Last year she had huge by-pass surgery on both her legs.

They can do amazing things, my mom's parents died of cardiovascular issues in their early 60's and that probably would have been my mom's fate as well, but we have the best health care in the world in this country.  Due to the research, the pharmaceuticals (evil big pharma!!) and wonderful procedures, she is still with us 20 years later and she still leads a pretty active life for a woman her age.

I bet President Clinton will be fine and probably back working by next week.

He'll be fine.  That being said, if it were GWB or GHWB in the hospital, well, we know what the comments would be elsewhere.

I didn't agree with a lot of what he did, but damned if he wasn't a hell of a salesman.

Odd since the SERIAL RAPIST MOLESTER is such a PROVEN heartless bastard.

I won't stoop so low (this time) so as to wish he dies or anything like that. I just have zero respect for the lying bastard and not because of his rapist nature, but for his selling top-secret American defense tech to China for campaign cash. The ****er allowed the design docs for the W-88 nuclear warhead to fall into the hands of China! Prior to Clinton, China could NOT hit the broad side of an entire state within this nation with their missile guidance technology. After Clinton and Loral, the ChiComs can drill a nuclear warhead into your child's bathroom toilet.
His entire administration was a sham used entirely to enrich him and that bull dyke wife of his.

What pisses me off is he said in a interview that he had ignored the warning signs what was he thinking?
