The TEARS of UNCONTROLLABLE LAUGHTER stain my face. I was very much indeed "out-of-the-loop" as this post was the first exposure I had to Terry Tate's antics. The whole schtick is just HYSTERICAL in context!

One caveat; IN CONTEXT are the operative words here. His complaints to transgressors are a hoot. On many of the vids they are undecipherable. Once I caught that I clicked around for good audio. Without it all one gets is ANGRY BUFF BLACK MAN ATTACKING. And if your first exposure is an attack on the Esther stand-in moose... Talk to me!

I'm all for discussion, but in my opinion, it sure sends mixed messages when we act 'startled' by videos from Countdown about male youths being punched by grumpy old women at Palin events, but then post jokes (intention or not) about young women candidates being blind-slammed by aggressive, angry men. The physical violence aspect of it might give aid and comfort to the McCain Campaign's arguments as they express shock about its appearance on major Democratic websites to the encouragement of other posters.

Just sayin' - and wondrin' - who could stand to benefit from this more ?

Just kidding ... I don't agree, I just think that you are taking this a bit too seriously. This is a well known parody involving Terry Tate in an office environment. It is really hilarious. You really need to watch it and it will help put things into perspective for you with this commercial. Looking at things through the eyes of somebody who has never seen the commercial, I can see how you might react this way.
