Stupid primitives -
There will be no viable third party movement - ever. It just doesn't work that way.
I do think that the Tea Party movement is causing out of power Republicans to assess exactly why they are out of power, and that the GOP will be receptive to the fundamental causes of this movement - Less Government, lower taxes. The other points that seem important- Jobs, National Security, Immigration are already part of the GOP, so it should be a fairly easy conversion as the party tries to reinvent itself.
Which, BTW, is the opposite of what Liberals do.
When you are out of power, you tend to want to do more of what got you into that position.
For example, look at the Spin on Scott Brown's victory from your guys -
Brown is a vote for Universal Healthcare ?
Brown was swept in on the same wave that swept Obama in ?
People voted for Brown because they were angry at Republicans ?
and the most stupid thing I heard just today....
People voted for Brown because they hate the idea of a filibuster ?
What the hell are you people smoking ? - Seriously.
