I voted for the first option, but it can cover any form of of what the DimRats may call reform.  They may even ram something through before the State of the Union address next week.

I pretty much agree with the first sentence, health care reform isn't entirely dead but it isn't going anywhere in its current form.  Later this year there may well be some sort of fusion bill that takes a couple of less-horrifying parts of the existing bills, adds one or two things the GOP wants, and ends up being passed as 'The Health Care Reform Act of 2010' but it's only about 1-to-4 odds on that, I'd say.

The second sentence, I don't think so.  They've gone 'way too far down the road before finding out it was a  dead-end to get out of it and regroup around a cogent plan in just a week.

After seeing what happened in MA.....I think the moderates will head for the hills regarding the bill in its current form....so will any Dem who cares more about his/her "seat" than they care what Pelosi/Reid can do to/for them.

I think both Pelosi and Reid - even if re-elected - won't be able to remain in charge. Too many of the "People" are pissed off ....and their Reps and Senators are runnin' scared.

I'm torn, but voted A.

I think you're going to see a lot of additional pressure on the 59 remaining Dems. Many will cave. It's possible one/some may stand ground. At the same time, don't forget that the WH is going to put a lot of pressure on key GOP members as well.

It'll be interesting to read the spin, regardless of the decision.
