I wish you all a wonderful 2010. Happy NEW YEAR

2009 was hard for a great many of us.

I and my family saw our share of issues but on the cusp of a new year, things seem to be looking better and better.

1. My health is improving, I gained 4 lbs which made my GI doc very happy yesterday
2. My daughter is back in our home, completed her first semester of college with all A's and I think I have met my future son-in-law. They are both very smitten and he is so wonderful with her it warms my heart.

3. My health scare has brought my husband and I closer together than ever
4. The bum in the basement has had a job for 4 months now, and will be out of our home by the end of Jan!

I am looking forward to a quiet 2010 that brings joy and happiness to all of my friends and family.

Happy New Year

Which, if not all, are outright lies?

My 1st guess is her daughter.

New campfire.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

At least. But she left off that TLB's passing was a Christmas gift to her.   :mental:

DUmmy Pam is in an expansive mood, anticipating victory in the DUmmy contest, and planning an end to her Crohn's storyline. Just wishing the DUmp a Happy New Year earned her some unrecs.

"I and my family"!! Pam's grammar is as bad as her spelling. Can you imagine how appalled her students' parents must be when they read notes she's written? But ignorance of Pam's magnitude is what we expect from a contender for DUmmy of the Year.  Of course, only part of it is her DUmmy ignorance, the other part being a product of her unfortunate genetic circumstances.

3. My only resolution is to once and for all quit smoking
it makes my Crohn's worse and it is getting expensive. I was in the hospital for 13 days without even a craving, but as soon as I was released, boom...I was stupid for taking that first puff back.

Pam and coach could work on this together! Maybe if Pam spent a few months in the Sandhills, out on the roof of Nebraska, where it's miles and miles to the nearest tobacco vendor, it would be easier for her to quit.

11. the coolest thing is that my daughter and her beau are spending NYE with us
playing pictionary man and other games.
At midnight, hubby will shoot off a festival ball and we will toast the new year in. I am looking forward to it and the new year.
I hope everyone has a great NYE and a great new year

Pam, we need pictures! Is Holli shacked up now? Is it that little wiener she went to the prom with?
It would be a real blast playing  a board game with someone as stupid as Pam. The family will have a ball. Holli will be reminded why she got out of Dodge.

You had it in General Discussion.

Such things happen once in a while, to everybody.

6. Thanks and the best to you as well, greenbriar.

But I'd much rather be referred to as the 'hobo in the cellar' if it's all the same to you. Has a bit more nostalgic ring. And, btw, I'm shooting for mid-Jan.

Cheers!

I thought the hobo was out Jan 1st?  Why the 30 day reprieve, I wonder??  I'll bet that date shifts again as the month goes by . . .
