Brittany Murphy Shocking ‘Deadline’ Poster Recall
« on: December 24, 2009, 12:11:59 PM »

Tragically coincidental

Quote
RedBox, a DVD rental company, is working on removing every outdoor promotional poster of Brittany Murphy’s movie “Deadline”, where the actress seems to be dead in a bathtub, after her tragic death on Sunday (December 20).
According to the first reports, Brittany had been found unconscious in the shower by her mother Sharon Murphy. This disturbing image will take around 7 to 10 days of emergency recall to completely disappear from 19,000 kiosks around the country. The movie’s distribution company is reportedly also working on changing the DVD cover.

It's nice to see Redbox trying to do the right thing, but I bet many of the posters will end up stolen.

The young lady is dead; moreover she is dead from what is by all appearances an overdose of self-inflicted stupidity.

She threw away the most precious gift she had ever received (whether you believe she received it from her creator parents, or her creator God makes no difference) - her life.  Perhaps a little ridicule is in order here?

Standing by to get competely flamed on this.

Nah, it's Christmas, the least we can do is forgive thee thy trespasses!  Maybe after the New Year!  ;)

Not from me.  She was an actress.  The poster is the advertisement.  What she chose to do with her life was her business .... evidently.

God rest her soul and for the rest of us ... carry on!

I think I heard she died of "natural causes", but has there been any further info?

"Natural causes", or the natural effects of anorexia nervosa and/or cocaine abuse?  A 32-year old woman dying of a spontaneous heart attack isn't "natural".

I heard it was a bad combination of prescribed medicines.  Haven't heard a word of illegal drug usage.  Every story out there says it was due to "Natural Causes".
