Pure politics in the school system

Did anybody catch the Fox report on the school supplies (notebooks, etc) provided to some Missouri school districts? If people want to buy this for their kids it is their choice, but I don't think that it should be in the in school vending machines...

Saw it at my sports board. Don't know why I didn't bring it over. Complete and utter bullshit. Liberals love it. Wonder how they'd feel if they had Bush written on them? Better yet, Palin?

Mrs E teaches in this same school district, but she hasn't said anything about this issue.

But then again, she voted for Lord Zero.  :censored:   :banghead:

It's his job to go to schools that might have received supplies with the controversial design and remove them.

Finding what schools the supplies went to has been difficult. From a case of 72 notebooks, three have been found that have a design similar to the Obama logo.

"It's turned out to be really ugly. We're trying to get them out of the schools as fast as we can," said Jones, who identified himself as a registered Republican who voted for John McCain in 2008.

I remember having several notebooks similar to this back in the 70's.



I'd rather see a kid with one of these than a Lord Zero one.

Actually, I think it qualifies as les majesty and satire.  The notebook had a picture of a bunch of small change, (mostly pennies, nickles and dimes) along with the slogan "Change we can believe in."  I have seen people use something similar here on this board as siggie lines to make fun of the 0ne.

I thought it funny.

Of course, there is a large movement in some quarters to build up zero, so people are getting tired of it.  I got tired of it real quickly.   This kind of satire however, might actually be encouraged. 

Obama has been built up like that statue in the old testament.  He had a voice of brass, and now all people see are his feet of clay.

Schools are where America's future lies.Our school system does not inspire much confidence in our future status as a superpower.
