What is the probability that Copenhagen gets shut down by snow?
« on: December 06, 2009, 10:58:52 PM »
Probably higher than it would be otherwise.   I think algore has had his symposia on global warming snowed out at least once, and I think twice.   They are going to be meeting in a far northern city in the middle of December.  I think snow is guaranteed.  How much?
An optimist sees the glass as half full, a pessimist sees the glass as half empty, an engineer sees that there is twice the glass required to contain the beer

This time of year, Copenhagen is cold and rainy; no snow to speak of yet.  Probably some ice, though.

Yes, but God has a wicked sense of humor, especially with those who presume to "know" more about his creations than He does.

I'm hoping it snows so bad that the limousines can't bring the fat bastards from the hotels - and their free Danish prostitutes - to the "conference".

If there is snow, I hope for some winter wonderland pics.

Having spent a fair amount of time in northern Germany, I can say that a preponderance of snow in Copenhagen generally doesn't happen. The North and the Baltic Seas generally have a temperate effect on the weather.

Far more likely would be ice storms. Those happen much more often than snowstorms.
