He's been perfectly clear and honest and pure as the driven snow. He said he would increase troop levels and "do it right" in Afghanistan. If YOU didn't hear that, then YOU weren't paying attention.

And if YOU were paying attention, and YOU knew he said that and YOU voted for him, then, BY GAWD!, this is YOUR fault. YOU're the one being dishonest. YOU have no right to speak against his plans. He told YOU he was going to do it and YOU voted for him.




Have I got that about that right? I wanna be sure I use only the newest and bestest and coolkiddest riffs when I post here on DU or discuss this in the real world. If I have somehow missed a sub riff or two, please elucidate me.

By God, I think STC gets it.  Whatever Sparkly is slipping into his Medimucil every morning seems to have the side effect of clearing bullshit out of his head, and allowing him to get with the program.

Of course this could be just another blind squirrel/nut moment at the DUmp, but hey....

And if DUmbass had been listening to Bush during the "Mission Accomplished" speech on the carrier deck he'd have lost one of the d's major talking points against W. At no time did he declare the war over he stated that they'd taken the country and now the most difficult part, the Peacekeeping/Rebuilding portion was underway. That was lost somehow and should have been used to shut up the whiners.

They never listen, they are the same idiots that say W claimed that saddam had a nuke pointed at us already when the entire time he and all his people said we were going in before he had them.

Between the "I'm anti-war except when a Democrat is in office and then I obediently fall in line" primitives and the "I'm anti-war and believed that he was lying and just saying things to get elected" primitives, they're having a battle or two at Skin's island.

Little do the primitives realize just what's in store for them (Of course, they never really think things through because they aren't capable of thinking at all.).  Whether Dear Leader starts removing troops from Afghanistan in 18 months or 3 years, if after we leave the country turns back to the Taliban and/or becomes a base from which terrorists groups operate, it will be Dear Leader's fault and we will hang it around his neck like a millstone.  And it will stick because it will be true.  Shove that in your pipe and smoke it, sparkling husband primitive and Pedro.
