Bruno the movie
« on: November 27, 2009, 10:29:02 AM »
We rented Bruno last weekend and my son said "Don't watch it .... it's gay.  Not gay stupid but weener touching weener gay".

No truer words have been spoken.  If you haven't seen it don't bother.  We didn't make it past 10 minutes or so.

I just thought of it because there was a banner ad for it at the top of the lounge page.

From what I read about it, even the people like that kind of garbage thought it was stupid. People were walking out in droves.

I watched it the other day (the "directors cut").  It was definitely one f'ed up movie.  Half stupid, half ridiculously funny.  Its the same premise as Borat where he goes into organizations or groups and pretends to be X while making a fool of himself.  The TV show focus group was hilariously bad -- I think I hurt myself laughing at what was on the TV.  The hunting trip was cringe-worthy and the baby modeling agency pissed me off until I saw what he did with the pictures.  THAT made me laugh.

I think it might have missed something in the edited version, but I may be mistaken.  I didn't want to watch it at first, but there was nothing on after the hockey game.

I laughed so hard I pissed my pants a little.  Hubby watched it between the fingers of his hands over his eyes.  It is very ghey and weenierie.
All the great things are simple, and many can be expressed in a single word: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope.
