A failed presidency is now unavoidable
« on: November 19, 2009, 08:21:25 AM »
Quote
For the past couple of months I have worried about the risks of a failed presidency. No one should want this, regardless of party affiliation. It is harmful and dangerous to our economy and country. However, it appears obvious to me that the royal regime known as Obama has ended.

Seth Leibsohn writing in the National Review summarized it this way:

"This is reminiscent of the Jimmy Carter years - the last time the U.S. was seen as weak - unable to move and coax other countries, unable to reassure dependent allies, unable to have the respect of the world and, of course, unable to move the mullocracy of Iran."

Even the liberal media are beginning to question the effectiveness of  the President. The media, in full Camelot mode, are slow to react and often lag what the populace started to recognize months ago. Quotes like these, however, suggest they are not far behind. ...

Presumably this won't prevent him ramming through his left wing agenda. Democrats do seem to come up with the votes when required despite murmurings from the 'Blue Dogs'.

The only hope we have is that Jimmah Cawter II, brings us the Reagan Revolution in spades. Of course that means that a conservative leader has to rise up soon.

I would have to say that so far, the administration is not doing quite as badly as I expected it would.  I do not mean that as any sort of contradiction of the point in the excerpt, of course.

We don't know for sure.  Getting the bad news out of the Old Stream Media about this puppet administration is like getting bullet fragments out of a shooting victim.

I do wonder how much longer the Congress critters are going to be able to defend him....

There was a Rep from FL on Fox this morning....Virginia Brown-Waite....she was being asked about this job creation thing that Obama's Merry Band of Idiots are touting as being so successful....in districts that don't exist.

The one she and the reporter were talking about was given $3million dollars for 6 jobs!!! Not only that...the district cited does not even exist!!!!! Both she and the reporter were questioning where the money went...and no one seems to know.

The Rep said that her constituents want to know where jobs are....and all Congress and the president seem to care about is getting a health care bill passed. She said her constituents want jobs and they want them now....they don't care about anything else.

The segment from Fox is on her website...http://brown-waite.house.gov/
