Quote
FELTON, Minn. - A semitrailer hit and killed four cows that wandered onto a Clay County road Monday night, Sheriff Bill Bergquist said.

The accident was reported at 8:28 p.m. on County Road 34, about four miles east of Felton, Bergquist said.

The semi driver wasn’t injured.

There were 30 to 40 other cows reported at the scene, according to the police dispatch log.

Let's get a moove on and milk this for the cheesy puns possible.

I guess the driver had a real beef with the bovines?

I'm going to take the bull by the horns and ask if this story is for veal.

That semi creamed those cows.

I wonder if this will make Olbermann's "Cowntdown."

What an udder tragedy!

I bet the semi driver had to kowtow to the owner.

I heard a couple of other cows were just grazed.

I'd butter stop now.

I'm sure you've herd enough out of me.

I'm hoofing it.

Oh Lordy!  What a bunch of manure!

Wonder if they took the driver away in a cow patty wagon.

R.I.P. LC and Crockspot.  Miss you guys.

True story.

A friend of my FIL was driving along a country road, came over a hill, hit a cow and killed it.  The cow ended up on the hood of his car.  Well, he was positive the insurance company wouldn't believe that he damaged his car when he hit the cow, so he left it on the hood and drove into town to the insurance agents office, what amounted to about a 20 mile drive.  Needless to say whenever he arrived in town, he drew quite a crowd.

This tragedy would've been averted had Patty been on the case:
