My brother and father were in the military. I was born with respect for the military.

No need to gun down a dozen or more people when all that Asshat had to do was resign his commission and be gone. This to me anyway sounds alot more then just some Muslim being harrassed for being a Muslim when he had an easy way out of the military. Thissounds more and more like he had a grudge against everyone he saw as an infidel for not following him on the true path to Islam.

Who can say if this isn't precisely why he joined in the first place?  This is Islam being discussed.

Time was when you could have your clearance stripped if you married, for example, a Korean national because of the potential security risk.  Yet this terrorist remained AD despite being investigated by the FBI!  I fail to see any logic here at all.

When my brother joined the army in WW2, as a private, believe it or not he was vetted because my father was born in Russia, coming to the USA as an infant. My brother was born in Boston many many years later.    NOW WE HAVE POLITICAL CORRECTNESS RUN AMOK.... :hammer:
