LSU was too injured to keep up.

I didn't watch much of the Ohio State - Penn State game, but I though PSU had a better team than that.  Apparently not.

CJ Spiller with Clemson continues to amaze.  Florida rolled.  Iowa's QB getting hurt did them in.  Stanford did its annual "We're gonna upset somebody" game.  Cincy did OK in what was more of a mental hurdle than a talent obstacle.  TCU killed.

All in all another good college football week.

Boy, I cannot wait until the radio retards begin their daily defense of Kevin Wilson again. The offense is getting worse every game. But, "he won the Broyles Award last year!". Yeah, how'd that play calling work out on the goal-line twice against Florida? The fact is, they won in spite of him with a talented QB and an upper-classmen offense.

Well, I have to say that was a total utter catastrophic thing that happened, Nebraska beating Oklahoma.  The whole state seems to be in shock.

No one, but no one, up here even thought there was a remote possibility.

Not a single sportswriter in a single Nebraska newspaper even hinted there was a 1-in-100,000 chance that Nebraska might beat Oklahoma.  It just wasn't going to happen, and so most of them just moved on to discussing how Nebraska is to handle Kansas next week after losing to Oklahoma.

This season is so screwed.

That stupid loss to Iowa State; as an alum of the University of Nebraska, if such were posssible, I'd just as soon trade past events, winning over Iowa State and losing to Oklahoma.  There's no shame or humiliation losing to a team with tradition and style and class and courtesy; there's considerable shame and humiliation losing to, of all people, for God's sake! Iowa State, which has no class at all.

This season is so screwed.

Frank, I have never seen a team on that level be so inept at executing blocking schemes, blocking technique and holding position for the snap. They were experimenting in the interior of the O-line during the middle of the game against one of the best DT tandems in the nation. That is just mind-boggling.

So, then, when the college football rankings come out again, I take it that we'll see Nebraska crack the Top 25 again?  Coach, I thought that you'd be thrilled that Nebraska and Bo Pelini beat the Sooners.

Since Spritzer hasn't been at Oklahoma in years....I doubt that there will be any out of the norm scandals. Spritzer was the Master of Scandal ...

Oh Frank...I don't think you can fairly say that about Iowa State.  They have class, they just have NEVER been very good.  When the Huskers turn the ball over 8 times, four inside the 10 yard line, most likely you're going to lose.

I'm really glad that I don't actually wager on games.  Because my prediction was so completely wrong. :banghead:

Go Frogs, we're up to #4 in both polls, and likely in the BCS standings when they come out later today.
