Not all Chris, there were 2 or 3 that received prison time, one was a boy at 15 or 16 from Boston area.
I would love to see the transcripts from their trial as I believe poor Mary was framed.
Some believe that she was part of the plot to kidnap Lincoln, but that John Wilkes Booth decided to assassinate him on his own. Supposedly John Wilkes Booth's own diary supports this theory. Others believe that she was just caught up in the madness following the assassination and became guilty by association because she owned the boarding house where some of the conspirators were staying, and where they may have met.
She may very well be a distant relative, so I prefer to think that she was innocent :innocent: Her son fled to Canada, and eventually Europe if I'm not mistaken. He was eventually brought back to the US and tried for his part in the conspiracy. However, there was a mistrial for the assassination part of the charge, and the statute of limitation had expired on the other charges, so he was not convicted.
