Later that same week another friend and I were walking down the road when some shit head fundie in an SUV took his hands off his steering wheel in moving traffic, to make a cross with his index fingers as he yelled at us "You satanists go to hell!!!"
I just sorta stood there.It was so weird I had no retort.

Were you walking around in black robes or something? Carry scythes? Jars of urine with crucifixes in them?

At 30 mph, a car carrying that evil person would travel 88 feet. Unless the driver was sticking his head out the window, I seriously doubt that the driver could be heard long enough to get all 7 syllables out.

At 45 mph, the car travels 132 feet.

In the first case, if someone was being threatened by fundies in a Starbucks, why text UP at home with the flu, instead of talking to one of the people who worked there or calling 911? Did these murderous fundies just sit aound dislpaying their weapon while the victim banged out a text message?

In the second case, how did this random driver come to decide that UP & friend were Satanic? Was it just some general intuition, was it one of the fundies from the previous day, or what? What part of the country is this in? Big town, small town? Maybe the OP is 100% true, but with so little context it's kind of hard to imagine how these incidents took place.

And my freind was scared and not everyone thinks of cops when they are scared.He was texting under the table.The fanatic was in his face.

As for the guy in the SUV I thought it was a strange thing to say to strangers walking down the road too.

I think it just misheard the guy in the SUV. Poor guy probably someone's stupid cat was about to dart out in the middle of the road and he'd either have to slam on the brakes or wash the damn car when he got home.
