The primitives seem unusually paranoid and distraught today.
Probably something only the primitive see, subconsciously.

I feel like we are under seige.
And I cannot understand the enveloping feeling of powerlessness on our part. The oil companies have financially strangled our economy for decades, Wall Street thumbs their noses at us, telling us "Thanks for the bailout. Now kiss our collective asses..."
In the face of even modest new credit regulations, the *******ed credit company execs couldn't wait to find new ways to screw us, with all types of obscene new fees, bogus reasons to triple our interest rates, roaming monthly posting dates and so on.
The insurance companies have waged open warfare on us, and the most disturbing thing for me on this issue, is how so many Americans can still be duped by the fearmongering, grossly paid Washington lobbyists, who have total access to power.
Do you or I have that? Secret meetings, backdoor deals, convoluted political processes, designed anymore for show than for real substance. The pols have to make it look good, smiling while constantly stabbing us in the back.
If Washington doesn't stop the madness and do some serious corporate ass kicking and regulate the hell out of these industries, then the greedmongers will not stop, until they've sucked the marrow from our carcasses. It WILL be the end of the U.S.

1. I'm not that worried
See France 18th century or Russia 1917. Of course after that happens, well there are a whole new set of problems.
Oh, but not all revolutions are left-wing events.

4. It may come to that. As has been reported recently, if it weren't for the unemployment extensions, there would be long lines at soup kitchens and a great deal more unrest, considering the true unemployment rate is figured to be around 18%.
Now, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.
I thought Bo was going to have this all handled by 11:01 a.m. January 20, 2009.
The primitives promised us he would.
What's the hold-up here?
