Rove on Faux news: Getting out of Iraq would drive oil prices to $200

This morning on Fox News Sunday, former White House adviser Karl Rove claimed that redeployment from Iraq would cause oil prices to shoot to $200 a barrel:

" If we were to give up Iraq with the third largest oil reserves in the world to the control of an Al Qaida regime or to the control of Iran, don’t you think $200 a barrel oil would have a cost to the American economy?"

Before we invaded oil was a $36 and now is $103

Al Qaida has never been anywhere near strong enough to

control Iraq, and the Iraqis distrust Iran.

4. What a bold faced lie.......I suspect it would have the opposite effect.

My guess is the Iraqis would dump as much oil on the market as they could to help pay for rebuilding things.

This is all contingent on the Iraqis having control of there own oil which I don't know for sure.

That is pretty hard to do with al queda attacking the oil infrastructure.

6. The Same Old

We are constantly bombarded by this stream of lies from the American administration.

One is reminded of the quotations of Hitler: "How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think."

or perhaps

"Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it."

Either one is more than applicable.

I know it is useless to think of but I still shake my head at how completely ignorant of everything DUmmies are.

Al Qaida isn`t interested in having a political state it is interested in having a muslem world that ascribes to its beliefs.
It will use whatever is necessary for that and seeks to kill anyone that doesn`t submit.

That is their own proclamations and that of all islamofacists.

The only possible reason that the primitives ignore and deny this is because they seek the destruction of the USA.
What they fail to come to terms with is that the enemy of your enemy will not always be your friend.
Radical islam has no interest in seeing a socialist/marxist USA and they will be more then happy to kill every DUmmy that won`t go along with their intents.

They don't necessarily seek the destruction of the USA, they want to be in power.

Hopefully, the DUmb****s will never have to see that point.

Great description of global warming.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Very true. The left is a disposable tool to the islamists.
