Thursday...the transition day
« on: February 28, 2008, 06:42:46 AM »
to Friday... :-*

My other half is off today so we have to get the basement prepped to get the evil repairs done to the walls. I expect this will be a 2 day event. Going to hit the gym this am...I've been doing it for a couple months now, but the other half is just starting again today(we'll see, I can't even get him to wake up with any ummph yet and I'm already dressed and ready to go once the kids are off to school--yeah for energy that comes from eating right and working out).

I guess I should tend to the pile of papers that has accumulated on the eat in table too(mail :thatsright:) It stacks up a bit now that my shredded blew up. ugh

TOTD: If you have done something wrong, do you find it easy to apologize to the other person? Even if time has passed and they don't expect it?

I do, too much at times, but I get sketchier if a lot of time has passed. I find it difficult to ever interact or socialize with someone again if they did something really atrocious and never had the common decency to apologize for the behavior.

Thursday.  Yay.

TOTD: It's not always easy to apologize, but I try to do it, and in a timely manner.

Not too shabby of a day so far, but I'm ready for Friday!

TOTD:  I apologize when I've screwed up. We all make mistakes in life and I know how it feels when someone doesn't treat me the right way.  I cut a friend out of my life a few months ago, and I know I'll never get the apology that I deserve.

Well, I should have said this in yesterday's thread, but I aced my Literature exam.  I got a 94!  :-) I will likely end up with at LEAST 2 A's at the end of the semester, for Biology and Literature, with B's in Political History and Cultural Geography.

I have to start writing a book summary, which has to be done BEFORE Friday March 7th.  I've got 2 paragraphs done, and have to do 3 more, plus an introduction and conclusion.   :bawl:

TOTD:  Most of the time, I can apologize wholeheartedly for something I've done wrong, but there are some folks that I have a hard time apologizing to, because of how THEY have treated me.   :(

Thursday is my favorite day of the week.  Named after Thor, comic book hero and god of Thunder.  AKA Donner.

WTG!  Fantastic!

TOTD: No, it's not easy to apologize.  When I'm in the wrong I will however try to make the situation right and apologize.

Just got back from a quick trip to the grocery store for some items to make this pasta salad that is SOOO good.  I'm cleaning out my pantry today and putting that rubber type shelf "paper" on the shelves.  I'm taking a break right now and eating a banana.  I'm making pulled pork for dinner with the yumma pasta salad and baked beans.  The pork smells so good I can hardly stand it.  My husband is coming home today from LA.  He got back from New York after being gone for 4 days last week then turned around and left for LA.  I'm sick of him going out of town.

TOTD:  I can't stand it if I've done something wrong and I hate conflict.  I usually apologize right away, especially if I've wronged my husband or kids.  Sometimes I will apologize when I wasn't even the one in the wrong.....it's almost a flaw.

I've had to do that too and I don't expect I will ever get one either. I still have my best girlfriend from when I was a teen though. She and I are always tight, but we both have always come back humbled when we knew we screwed up...the friendship was worth that much.

My dad never apologized. It's alienated a lot of people through his life.

That's awesome, ACC! Keep up the good work. I have nothing to report as I took off the semester, but have a full load starting next month. I am working out though as you know...that's enough work in and of itself.lol
