Poll question: Will you donate time and money to ABM or Dem candidates if there is no public option?"

   Poll result (115 votes)
Yes, I will financially support or make calls for the Democratic Party even if they do not have the public option. (A Democrat is better than a Republican.)    (18 votes, 16%)   Vote
No. I will donate time and money to other De ms who are strong supporters of the public option and/or single payer, and I will support people to primary against those who vote against the public option    (97 votes, 84%)   Vote

34. And they can only do that because
they believe we have no alternative and we'll scream and yell but vote for them in the end. That is what has to stop.

It's like threatening a child if he repeats bad behavior with consequences and then not following through. When they know we mean it, they'll stop ignoring us.

fairweather Dem's. this is how we lose to the neanderthal Re republicans.

go ahead and cut off your nose to spite your face but you will have only yourselves to blame when the republicans take back congress and the white house.

I'm just totally gobsmacked by this response (5 yes, 19 no). y'all ought to be ashamed to call yourselves democrats or liberals or progressives . . . you're not.

28. What is the point of voting for Democrats if....
they are this pathetic and weak and righting?

Ba rack ABM is a coward if it turns out that he's dropping the public option.

No he just dozen`t want to commit political suicide and very likely wont.
Your Congress critters with a (D) beside their name should be very nervous next election though.

38. If they don't care about me, I have no use for them. We NEED single payer
or a STRONG public option on the way to single payer.

OMG...THEY DON`T CARE ABOUT YOU?????   :lmao:

ABM?

I'm thinking Anti-Ballistic Missiles, myself.
"Timid men prefer the calm of despotism to the tempestuous sea of Liberty." - Thomas Jefferson

"All you have to do is look straight and see the road, and when you see it, don't sit looking at it - walk!" -Ayn Rand

"Those that trust God with their safety must yet use proper means for their safety, otherwise they tempt Him, and do not trust Him.  God will provide, but so must we also." - Matthew Henry, Commentary on 2 Chronicles 32, from Matthew Henry's Commentary on the Whole Bible

"These anti-gun fools are more dangerous to liberty than street criminals or foreign spies."--Theodore Haas, Dachau Survivor
