Former U.S. Rep. William Jefferson of Louisiana was convicted Wednesday on 11 of the 16 corruption charges against him.

Former Rep. William Jefferson arrives at U.S. District Court with his wife, Andrea, on June 9.

Jefferson, a 62-year-old Democrat, was indicted by a federal grand jury on June 4, 2007, on corruption charges, about two years after federal agents said they found $90,000 in his freezer. Authorities said the cash was part of a payment in marked bills from an FBI informant in a transaction captured on video.

Jefferson had pleaded not guilty. ...

Good.

I hope he spends the rest of his life at hard labor.

He's a typical Congress-shit.  Meaning the guards would have to work his ass over with batons and fire hoses just to get it through his head that "work" no longer means, "attending a luncheon where lobbyists slip envelopes of money into his suit pockets".

I'll take the 1st guard shift, free of charge.

They need to investigate all the Reps that suddenly become Millionaires after taking office.
