So You Think You Can Dance
« on: July 31, 2009, 04:13:40 PM »
The wife and I started watching this show last year as it was/is a requirement from my daughters Ballet teacher.
Most times the dancing is "very good" until the top 20 dancers are chosen. Then it ramps up.
Last week the routines were pretty good, we are starting to get to the "cream of the crop" now. The pairs were doing well, but we've gotten into critiqueing the dances, and have found that we tend to be in line with the judges.
So, as we are sitting there, the couples are doing well, but a tad lackluster, then this happens:

Best piece I've ever seen.

“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

It was a good piece.  I love some of the choreographers on that show.

Great show. That was a great dance. Although, I don't think there have been as many memorable routines this season as there were last season.

I agree...that one and the addiction piece with Kayla and Kapona (who I hated!) were about the only ones that really stick out.
