proud2BlibKansan (1000+ posts) Wed Jul-29-09 09:36 PMResponse to Original message 1. I was accused of shoplifting one time and banned from the store I hadn't stolen a damn thing. They searched all my stuff, found nothing and then told me it was probably better that I not come back to that store. I said hey, no problem, why would I want to spend any more money in here anyway?
"even in Chicago"??Especially in Chicago. Its a 3rd world urban nightmare on course to be the next Detroit.
As a conservative who has survived nearly 10 years of living & working in Chicago, the criticisms of the city are vastly overblown. It is a wonderful city to live in. Despite the obvious and well known problems.
Like a city government run like the mafia. and didn't that city have a city councilman elected by gangmembers?
Meh, there are problems but it doesn't really affect your daily life. It is more comical than anything.
