Saw this on Ace of Spades. It's really funny in sad, pathetic way. This could be from the DUmp...

Letter from Borders employees...
Let nothing trouble you,
Let nothing frighten you.
All things are passing;
God never changes.
Patience attains all that it strives for.
He who has God lacks nothing:
God alone suffices.
--St. Theresa of Avila

We had a Border's and a Barnes and Nobles within a couple miles of each other, and I always went to the B&N when there was a choice.  The Border's just gave me something to do if I was waiting for my table to be called at a nearby restaurant.  I did take advantage of their closing sale though.   :-)

Imagine that--put upon snooty leftist tripe.

I shop at Amazon or the used book store here.  Neither one gives me a load of shit or rolls their eyes when I ask for something.  Your attitudes are what caused the collapse of your business.  I would rather poke myself in the eye with a freshly sharpened #2 pencil than ask any questions at any book stores owned by huge chains.
All the great things are simple, and many can be expressed in a single word: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope.
