I live out in teh sticks, and quite a few of the people in the area keep horses. I have ridden horses many times before, but know exactly squat about care and maintenance.
Saw one the other day on the way home that was a little unusual. The horse was wearing a "mask"...don't know the correct term, but it renders the horse blind...as in a blindfold. I've seen them before and can't figure out why they're wearing them. The horse in question was running a full gallop in a small fenced-in field. How do he know where he is and not run into da fence? Why the "mask"?
