Tuesday June 2nd.
« on: June 02, 2009, 08:37:51 AM »
I don't know how to act.

I have a day here that contains no huge errand list, no Doctor, Dentist, Nutritionist, Vet, or other medical professional appointments, no Honey-do items and no pressing housework.  Critical pressing housework anyway.

I am sitting down with my second cup of coffee at hand just sort of grooving on feeling normal.  Normality is a vastly underrated condition. :)
No panic to get anything done or try to coordinate to be in different places around different people's schedules. I have to go to the health club later which I am frankly dreading because I still feel a little beat up from the weekend in my hinderlands, but it actually helped quite a bit going on Sunday and getting the kinks worked out.

I actually have a big task to do today as I need to haul a new shelf of drawers downstairs and organize and clean my painting station. It looks like a hobby store exploded there 10 years ago and was partially paved over and turned into a combination landfill/2nd hand store.  I have a ton of painting I need to do before August and I have been avoiding my work area because it was one of my "Smoking" places.  I am still finding cigarette ash on the table when I have done stuff there. I really need to haul all the coats in and get them drycleaned also.  I tried on an older coat the other day and it reeked of old smoke.

My day started with hugs and smiles from my peeps here. That makes it the start of a good day whatever else comes.  My wife looked gorgeous going out the door today. She is a little under 8 weeks into her exercise and health club routine and she looks good enough to eat with a spoon.  She has ceased having a rear end and developed a smokin' ass. :-)

My progress, alas, has been significant but not as dramatic as hers. Although I was giving some lessons to a couple of guys last Saturday and when I hauled out my gunbelt and strapped it on it was about 4" too big for my waist. Which was cool.

What sucks is my life sorta centers around nutrition, dieting and exercise right now. I was sitting and reading through "Eat this not THAT" late last night while my wife was doing some work and I realized that I was looking at pictures of food like they were porn.  :rotf:

My kitchen is cleaned, hallway capet cleaned, upstairs vaccumed.  SHould do the bathroom, but I'm gonna chill for a bit first.

My days are pretty quiet...evenings, on the other hand, are crazy!   12 more days....I cant do it!

Congratulations to yourself and your wife.  Enjoy your day without any major plans :-)

My work load has been really fluctuating lately.  Either I have a ton of work, or practically no work.  I've been able to pick up other people's neglected work when mine is slow though, which my boss loves  :innocent:  ;)

I have Karate tonight.  I'm testing for third level brown in two weeks (if it doesn't get moved again) and I don't feel prepared yet.  This is my last test before my black belt.  Eep!

Sorry, someone had to do it.

Did someone say "Smoking Ass".....brings up horrible mental pictures of a long ago underage adventure into the "girly show" at the county fair......excuse me while I wash out my head with bleech.

ASDF - I bought that same book (Eat this not that) and Hubby was focusing on the "bad" page and I was focusing on the "good" page. LOL! It is food porn!

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

I love the description of you looking at the book. I get like that on occasion in the ice cream aisle :-)

Woot to the wife! It rocks to get into smokin' ass and hourglass figure territory :cheersmate: Shoulders and upper back that rock the tank top are just around the corner...just warning her :naughty: :-)

As I told you in pm, you have my support in this journey asdf! Good job!

Glad to see more positive news from you, asdf. Keep it up! :)

Today was the first day of the summer semester, and I'm in between classes.  I have psychology in the mornings (M-F) and Precalculus in the evenings (TR= Tuesdays & Thursdays).

This semester should be alright... just wish I could find my stinkin' graphing calculator. :(

Woooo... I'm off tomorrow.  It rained pretty hard earlier.  The roof at work started leaking again.  Tomorrow should be nice and clear, but I hope it doesn't get above 90° like it did today.

It rained hard here a while ago with some gusty winds, but it did cool it down some.

Today was a nice day too.  The cleaning lady was over at 8am and did a great job, as usual.  I brought my car to get detailed. I stopped by Best Buy to get a gift for the sister-n-law's birthday...bought myself a camcorder too...all the bells and whistles.
Came home, showered and had a relatively easy day at work....

Sometimes balance is appreciated.  I wish more days were like this.

That was a perfect time to try out the new camcorder.   :evillaugh:

Ugh.  I'm glad I'm home.  A big-ass optical cable somewhere on the east coast got damaged, so we had a couple major clients that didn't have network access.  Had to do everything over the phone... it sucked. :p
