That is my repeated advice to my oldest son when he is getting ready to deploy.
I got an e-mail from his last week letting us know that his unit received their notification that they will be deploying in the near future.
He is assigned as the platoon sergeant in the XX company of the special troops battalion, in the Airborne Brigade.
Given the penchant of the current POTUS to want to treat the TERRORISTS with kid gloves, I just can't see wanting to see my son put his life on the line to capture a TERRORIST so the TERRORIST can come to the U.S. and live in a climate controlled environment, have a cot to sleep on, and eat three hot meals while he is living in squalor.
What we should do with those TERRORISTS, is do what the ROK Marines did in Vietnam - interrogate them on a helo on the way back to their FOB and in the process the TERRORIST """accidently""" falls out of the helo.
