When I first moved to Idaho, must a been around '78, the only work I could find was janitoring for the local school district. The school I took care of still had a coal fired boiler. Everything in the place had asbestos insulation.
When they finally upgraded they had to basically tent the whole damn place because they had the idea it would contaminate the neighborhood! They've gone way to far on this shit! It's really disgusting! It cost the school district hundreds of thousands in order to do the clean up. Money they just didn't have.
I've never understood how they can justify the expense when the district swears they're going bankrupt unless we pass the next levy!
