Tancredo's speech at UNC disrupted by protesters
« on: April 15, 2009, 12:08:46 PM »
Linky dink

By Tim NelsonCHAPEL HILL (WTVD) -- There are two questions following a rowdy student protest at UNC Chapel Hill Tuesday night.
Did the protest get out of line and did campus police go too far?
Click here to watch the raw video
Dozens of protesters turned out to oppose a speech given by a former Colorado congressman, who was on campus to speak against illegal
immigration.

----
Another example of how the left sees free speech.

Tancredo himself emailed a statement to Eyewitness News on Tuesday.

"There is no freedom of speech on hundreds of university campuses today for people who dare to dissent from the radical political agenda of the socialist left and the open borders agitators," he wrote.

We've known this for years.

It took a long time and a lot of weight to move people to holding tea party rallies.

If these idiots try to silence the long-suffering tea party protesters as they did Trancredo this thing will blow wide open.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

What a dumb f'n blond. Calling Tancredo anti-immigration is BS. How about some journalistic integrity, skank?
NAMBLA is a left-wing organization.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

this reminds me of the stink raised over alleged racist grafitti in the "free expression tunnel" at NC State after the election.  What part of "free expression" do they not get?

All I can say is, I partially blame the parents. If one of my kids was involved in this horse squeeze, I would drive to campus, drag them out by the hair of the head, bitch them out in front of everyone, and say, enjoy paying for your own college experience, you little ingrate commie a**hole! I am not kidding. My kids would attest to the fact that I wouldn't put up with them acting like heatherns. It's one thing for kids to peacefully protest things that make sense, but to act like that? Taz 'em all.
There is no virtue in compulsory government charity, and there is no virtue in advocating it. A politician who portrays himself as caring and sensitive because he wants to expand the government's charitable programs is merely saying that he is willing to do good with other people's money. Well, who isn't? And a voter who takes pride in supporting such programs is telling us that he will do good with his own money— if a gun is held to his head.

They should be learning, not protesting.

Protesting is what they ARE learning from all of those burnt out hippies that are called "professor".

Napolitano needs to put out a DHS report on violent LW extremists on college campuses.
