A friend of the daughter of Vice President Joseph Biden is attempting to hawk a videotape that he claims shows Ashley Biden snorting cocaine at a house party this month in Delaware.  An anonymous male "friend" of Biden took the video, said Thomas Dunlap, a lawyer representing the seller. Dunlap and another man claiming to be a lawyer showed The Post about 90 seconds of 43-minute tape, saying it was legally obtained and that Biden was aware she was being filmed. The Post refused to pay for the video.

The video shows a 20-something woman with light skin and long brown hair taking a red straw from her mouth and bending over a desk, inserting the straw into her nostril and snorting from lines of white powder.  She then stands up and begins talking with other people in the room. A young man looks on from behind her, facing the camera. The lawyers said he was Biden's boyfriend of some years.  The camera follows the woman from a few feet away, focusing on her as she moves around the room. It appears not to be concealed. At one point she shouts, "Shut the f--- up!"

Nope, when Democrat children do drugs, it's a family matter and shouldn't be publicized under any circumstances.  If your a Republicans child and you do drugs, then your father needs to be tried and shot as a war criminal.   :whatever:

I went to Drudge Report and used his links to various liberal media outlets.

Not a single one of them is covering this story, as if this is a surprise.

I haven't listened to Rush in several years, but it might be worth tuning in Monday morning to his show to see how he is covering it.

I'll have to watch The Factor Mon night as well to see if Bill is going to cover the story - the story is on Foxnews.com, so he may cover it.

Hannity will probably be covering it too.

The phenomenon is easy enough to explain.

Conservatives believe in personal responsibility thus when one of their offspring acts irresponsible it is to be broadcast as a failure of conservativism to adequately deal with human vice.

Liberals have no moral standards so there was no lapse. However, they still need middle America's vote so let's not broadcast anything that might hinder that.

Still and all, I'm more than a bit suspicious, given that the "friend" is shopping this tape for a quarter-mil.  Really?  Just like API had that Michelle Obama tape?  If in fact it's really her, could a law enforcement authority subpoena it or a copy of it like they did with the Phelps photo?

I think it probably is Ashley Biden in that tape, but regardless, that's no "friend" you'd want.

There is a double-standard for sure, but Biden can't control everything his idiotic adult daughter does, and neither could Bush nor Sarah Palin.
