We have the choice between a RW wingnut and an extreme liberal -- and that is just in the Republican party.

Folks, this is it -- game over. No matter who gets elected you will be taxed into submission. Socialist Bread And Circuses will be the watchword for the next 8 years (and probably forever). Descartes was right.

The Communists wanted to undermine us using our own institutions. They have succeeded.

Say hello to 90% tax brackets for $150K plus -- you know "the rich who don't pay their fair share." And once Socialized Programmes are instituted you can't remove them with a stick of dynamite. And once we allow the Illegal Amnesty (and their families) we will have a permanent underclass of 80 MILLION, all of whom take more than the provide -- paid for by your taxes.

You watch the exodus of businesses to more business-friendly climates -- like China.

I am glad I don't have children to be brought up in The People's Republic of Amerika that I guarantee 100% is coming.

The Carter Years will seem like a day at Disneyland compared to what will be unleashed on the idiot voters in the USA this year.

I officially Give Up and am starting to look abroad.

Just My Opinion.

If it gets as bad as you  seem to think it will, it'll be time to hoist the jolly roger and go on a throat slitting mission. I will NOT leave my country, nor will I stand idly by while the pols screw it up worse than it already is.

I was deeply, DEEPLY upset at Tuesday's results.

I think the end of what was great is over with, and I am feeling like you, screw it.

I also thought the same thing about moving abroad, but where, since the rest of the world is pretty socialistic.

What makes you guys so sure that Hillary Clinton can beat John McCain? As a Clinton supporter, the Republican who I fear has the best chance of beating Clinton is McCain.

The current Dem congress couldn't get shit done except fund the war and agree on a tax rebate, not too bad. The prez found his veto pen, even better. None of their Liberal shit got through, like amnesty.

But the Congress is all socialist lefties.  So when they decide to raise the tax rate to 90% for 100K plus, they will all fall in line.  And it will stampede business and individuals out of the USA and the economy.

I think I'm well on the record as opposing McCain.

The commies have NOT won.

We need a conservative congress--especially a senate--that will put the brakes on McCain including and especially if he dares nominate less tha stalwart SCOTUS judges.

LL, once I get things going outside the USA, you'll be the first I ping. Monterrey and Guadalajara are great places to start businesses, if you understand and deal with the local conditions.  Unabated Capitalism can be very difficult if you don't know the lay of the land, but if you how to navigate it can be very, very profitable.

Not saying you're wrong. I'd prefer to stay in America though. It'd kind of be like a scene from that new Will Smith movie "I Am Legend" where he awakens one day to find he's the only man left on Earth.... After HillaryCare and 90% taxes and the War on terror is lost, some people are going to have to rebuild, and it's not going to be Rainbow McTye Dye who voted for Hillary.  :-)
