OMG!  And apparently that song "Buttercup" is her and her boyfriend's "song" or something.  Anywho, so again she's ****ing deaf and is blasting that song you can hear it all over the office.  Well, the first time I was like "um, that's okay I like this song."  Then she played it again and I was like "really??"  I was gonna walk over there and tell her to turn it down if it had started a third time, but thankfully it didn't.

The next time you wind up in the sack that song is going to playing in your head.

Count on it.  :evillaugh:

Went to a lunch thing today at the office with accountants explaining the tax stuff in the stimulus  bill...they had read 2/3 of it, so far.

Didn't sound as good in practice as the media is touting it. There are several things though, for people who don't itemize, that they will now be able to deduct if they qualify.

Can't see where it's going to put actual cash paper money in my pocket....more so that I won't have to pay it out.
Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

Home from work.  I got a RAISE... had an evaluation today, and I increased my points (evaluations are based on a points system using various characteristics to determine an employee's worth) by about 20, putting me in the "role model" category.   :cheersmate:   I'm also getting very large paychecks for the next two pay periods (working 35+ hours for each), plus a possible inventory bonus. YAY!

I rewarded myself tonight with some Cadbury creme eggs.  Don't expect me to share.  :p

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

It was 80° the other day.  It's going to be 19° tonight.  I'll be glad when this winter is over.

Did y'all get hammered again yesterday with the storms?

They went right around us....both counties south of us got hit, skirted up about 8 miles west of us and went across Oak Ridge and north part of the county.

Snow is forecast for the weekend.

No wonder everyone is sick around here.

We did.  It was scattered, but the bottom dropped out about 11:30.  That lasted for about 30-45 minutes and everything cleared up and started turning cold.

We got a light hit in the morning....but the big stuff didn't hit until about 2 and lasted until 4. Tornadoes touching down all over the place. I was just glad we didn't have any more trees fall down around the house.

You're one of those mayo french-fry eaters, eh?  I've tried it -- it's not bad but I prefer ketchup.  I just remembered I bought steak fries so I could put seasoning salt on them.  Bojangles sells the best fast food fries I've had (better than Wendys).  They put Lawry's on them... they're good enough to eat without ketchup.

Yup. I'm not much of a fan of ketchup. About the only thing I can eat it on is meatloaf, and then only mixed with a lot of hot sauce.

I love some steak fries though. There was this little place in East Texas I used to go to that had the best. Half the time I'd go, I just order a basket of them... Damn, now I'm hungry.
