Blackberry Storm...
« on: January 17, 2009, 09:55:38 AM »
Anyone have it?  I am really REALLY tempted to get it, especially after playing with it in the store yesterday.

I would love thoughts...and I would love all of you who can give them to me, to do so.   :-)

A co-worker of mine has one and loves it.

Nuff said.  LOL

I was in Verizon yesterday paying our bill it gave me a great excuse to go check it out.  My phone isn't up for an upgrade yet, but uh...yeah...I don't care I really want it.  I have tried asking around or looking online to see if there are any major issues but I haven't really heard anything damaging...

Hold off until your current contract is up for renewal. By then the Storm will be consiiderably cheaper. Phones running a couple hundred buck a yr ago can be had for about 50 bucks now.

I amsomewhat surprised the phone manufacturers are still in this day & age limiting their market exposure by making exclusive contracts with phone service carriers. Then again doing it that way all or the majority of their profit is frontloaded.

I think the USA is the only country that still does business that way and folks wonder why we are loosing the competitive edge.

It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

I'm eventually going to switch from Sprint, who I've been with since '00, to ATT so I can get an iPhone.

I switched to AT&T a few years ago, only b/c the phone I wanted was with AT&T and my contract was up with Sprint.  I never had problems with Sprint, I used them for years and years.  I'm pleased with AT&T too.
