Frozen beer lake created

Alcohol-loving ice skaters of the world unite - a lake of frozen beer has been created in Germany, purely by accident.
A busy intersection in the German city of Kassel turned into a lake of frozen beer on when some 1,600 bottles smashed after poorly secured crates flew off a delivery truck, police said.

The truck, carrying 12 tonnes of freshly brewed beer, lost most of its load on a sharp left-hand turn at the bottom of a hill, according to Kassel police inspector Wolfgang Jungnitsch.

I remember from the old days of passing out with a beef in the freezer, a frozen beer is not the most stable of elements.  It will become slushy within a few minutes of putting the bottle between your thighs.  Or maybe that was just me.
