Fat Che in new digs now?
« on: December 24, 2008, 08:20:15 AM »
This being the season of peace and goodwill towards all men, I went out looking for Fat Che, who's been suspiciously inconspicuous, and even absent from Big Jerry's salon.

As far as I know, this is Fat Che's last post in Big Jerry's salon, in a thread about "neocons" "being tolerated" on Rancid Rhodes' message board.

BTW, I am now an admin there JUST so I can fix things. Policy is unchanged because that is not my role. So please don't blame me for policies you don't like; I just make the wheels turn. OK?

Merry Christmas, Fat Che.

Probably about 30 seconds after his claim of a 3-way with Rhodes and Jenna Jamison.

I saw on the internet, maybe two years ago, that Fat Che was leaving wikipedia.

It surprised me, because Fat Che acted as if he owned wikipedia.

I nagged about the wikipedia article on Fiji needing correction, but Fat Che never got around to it.

It's true Fat Che didn't, and doesn't, own wikipedia, but he acted as if he did, and so he should've corrected that article on Fiji.

I dunno if Fat Che ever did in fact leave wikipedia.

Randi Rhodes message board is a nasty, nasty place.  They don't tolerate conservatives.

Perhaps I should conduct a test.

I can go over there and sign up as TxRadioguy.

What's the over/under on how long I'd last?

I'm guessing the first time I called Che "Fister" I'd get the marble cookie.

Her boyfriend is UFC fighter Tito Ortiz and they are expecting twins soon.  I don't think she is doing anyone. :-)

One way to find out.  Edit Fister's pet Wiki articles (I would think the one for porn star Annie Sprinkle in particular) with some questionable material and see who shows up to fix it.

You wouldn't last long.  I was banned for saying that men should (should mind you) have rights to unborn kids they are the father of.  They didn't think I should hold that opinion.

They were also the dumbasses I tried to have an intelligent arguement with over corporate taxes.  They are some really vile folks.

In fact, I just did.  I tagged the article with the "fansite" template.  Let's see who makes it disappear.

You know, I went and registered over at Fat Che's new digs.

I didn't try to be sneaky about it; I was utterly aboveboard.

As I always am.

Well, it's been 45 minutes now, and no confirmation of registration.

I thought these things were done automatically by software; when I signed up at the Rocky Mountain News last week, I got confirmation within seconds.  When I signed up here on January 3, 2008, I got confirmation within seconds.

They must be using Windows1954 over there, or something.

Frank, if you are talking about registering at RRMB .... they used to do all that by hand and would laugh about rejecting folks over there.  They are the biggest bunch of losers I have ever seen on a mb.  Randys over there is the leader of the losers, good luck with that.

Well, being Christmas Eve and all, they may not be getting to confirming new registrations today.  I'm sure that Fat Che will let you join.  I don't know about txradioguy though. :-)

Computers don't know holidays any more than pigs know about Christmas.

I thought the software "approved" registrations, simply by confirming one isn't spam.

And within seconds.

You mean to tell me there's web-sites where people actually physically eyeball registrations?

I suppose you're right, it probably should automatically send you a confirmation e-mail.

I don't know, I've never run a site before.

Well, since it's the ever-paranoid, ever-spying, ever-suspicious, ever-cheating Fat Che, it's possible he looks them over before approving them.

Man, that makes life harder than it has to be, always paranoid, always spying, always suspicious, always cheating.
