« on: November 16, 2008, 09:17:45 AM »
So it's 61 degress this sunday morning in Palm Beach, Florida... :-)
My housecleaner was here at 9am to clean my house.  Then I will be doing some shopping and laundry to get ready for the work week.
Tonight I'll have dinner with family visiting from up North.

What's everyone doing today?
God I love this cool weather.... :bouncy:

Last night I fell asleep on the sofa watching some movie.  I ended up sleeping on the sofa all night.  I was teh tired.

Today it's a little chilly.  I have to work 12-4, which yesterday we got a whopping two phone calls.  At least my new book I'm reading is very interesting.

My wife and my daughter are going to my in-laws, then the four of them are going to see my wife's 97-year-old grandmother about an hour and a half west of here.  I'd go, but we'd have to take two cars, and the gas expenditure would be double.  My wife and my in-laws actually suggested this.

I'm going to putter around here for the day--I may go to get some stuff at Dick's Sporting Goods.  I also might get a gift or two for our daughter.  (Here, honey--it's a Ruger 10/22 carbine!  Oh--Dad will hafta use it until you're old enough.)

A cold front is blowing through today, and the temperature is noticeably dropping.  It was damn near 60 in Albany a couple of days ago.  According to my Weather Channel toolbar, it's 44 now and cloudy.

Low 30's and snow showers today. I think winter may be knocking on the door.

Mancub and I are going to be driving to the halfway point between here and Minneapolis to pick up the girlchild from her 5 day adventure at the National Young Leaders State Conference thingy she has been at for the last 4 days. 4 hours round trip.  :p

Then we start another exotic fun filled week of school and stuff.  I have a couple of meetings and training classes scheduled in the evenings this week so the eldest gets to do a little bit of baby sitting.

My better half gets home from Texas on Friday and then she has some time off scheduled the week of Thanksgiving.  We may take the kids to a waterpark for an overnight end o' the month here.

I am just starting to look at Christmas shopping for our distant but still good friends. (Holiday gift catalogs) I love this time of year.

My sister-in-law has had both of the childrens since Friday night- WOOT!!

Hubby and I actually went out on a date last night and got to spend some good quality time together. We had a really, really nice time.

Unfortunately for him, he had to be at work at 8am this morning. But I didn't get out of bed until about 1/2 hour ago. I can't even remember the last time I have been able to sleep in that late. It was GLORIOUS!

Cold here, and really, really windy. I have some chores to do before going to pick up the chicklins at my SIL's, then hit the grocery store, dinner, dishes, baths, etc etc etc. back to the normal grind.

Rain and fog cleared out last night, and with it, the wind picked up and the temperature has dropped like a rock.  We may not get snow in the next couple of days, but it's sure gonna be ball-shrinking cold (low teens) by the end of the week.

I love Sundays, especially a day like today when you don't get sweatbeads by just walking out the front door.  It's clear, sunny and cool.  NOW if it can only stay this way till June.  I hate the heat...why am I still here?  Oh that's right, my job. :whatever:

I had a long week and I think it finally caught up with me.  I didn't even go to the usual Saturday night festivities with my friends last night.  I'm not sure if my cat, Monty, ever moved.  He was laying by my feet when I fell asleep and he was still there when I woke up this morning.

Skipped church and went for a hike instead. Just got back from it and now I'm eating Taco Bell. Might as well cancel out that hard work I just put in during the hike.  :whatever:  :-)

I think I'll watch some football, do a couple of chores and just take it easy today.

Didn't do much today.  Went to WalGreens and purchased a couple of The Healing Garden gift sets that two particular family members (mom and sis) requested as their Christmas gifts from me.   The Healing Garden is a fantastic brand for bath salts, lotion, etc.  Especially that lavender scent... ;)

Stopped at Wendy's on the way home.  I feel like such a pig right now, but I needed the large Frosty, after my week of eating healthier.  :p

Seems like vegging out is today's thing...and nothing like it after you have a hectic week.

Miss Mia, my cat does the same thing...Actually, I have two..and sometimes they take up the whole bed and I can't even turn....lol...Love my kitties...

Boyfriend with allergy doesn't though...  :whistling:

Monty's gotten to the point that he likes to lay right up and partially on me during the night.  I kinda on the left side of the bed so Monty gets the middle.  And then he gives me the evil eye if I dare to move him over.  LOL!

So, my dad has decided on a condo.  He's going to put in an offer on the one that my co-worker is actually selling.  It's such a small world.  This isn't a co-worker that I'm very friendly with, but I saw the pics of the condo and it's GORGEOUS! I think my dad will be very happy there, it has a nice view from the patio.
