Election judges! Do you have enough clerks for tomorrow? I DON'T!

So much to do, so much to do - at least I marked the poll book with all of our precinct's early voters yesterday. Now I'm trying to round up a few more election clerks so that we don't get swamped tomorrow. We may have as many as 130 voters per hour tomorrow, or 2.5 voters a minute. Ye Gods, I'm in for a world of hurt.

One of the stupidest girls I have ever had the misfortune to meet is an election judge too.  It is the ones that are pretty much unhirable that get those jobs.

Any of you could do this as your civic duty.

SO  .........................Today two women I know are going to be poll workers. They called the Judge in Ft. Barnwell NC and asked what time they should be there. Judge said, I ALREADY GOT MY FIVE PEOPLE . Woman (never cop an attitude with this woman) said well when we did our training we were assigned to this precint. Judge again replied I ALREADY GOT MY FIVE PEOPLE Woman hung up and called the head of elections. She said she would call and called back that there wasn't any answer, poll worker said she (judge) was on the way to the board of elections to pick up what was needed. Head honcho said "GOOD I"LL TALK TO HER FACE TO FACE" Head honcho called poll worker and said be there at 530am where you were assigned, a new judge has been appointed

I worked as a striker at the polls 4 years ago.  The poll workers didn't want to allow me in.  At the time I didn't grow my big girl balls yet so I gently asked them to let me in because it was my right to be there.  They rolled their eyes and finally allowed me in.  Every poll worker was a democrat and I was the only republican involved.  It took several hours of me being nice to them before they stopped acting like douchebags to me.

You know .... you could save a LOT of time if you learn one little thing.  In situations like this you get respect a whole lot quicker when you have a 9mm in your purse/back pocket. 

Why, you could save enough in just the time saved to purchase a really nice 9mm to carry concealed.
