I thought as much.  the poor girl probably has issues.  I suspect that she was just looking for attention.  I snipped this from the
middle of a story . . . .

Anyone that makes up allegations of this nature I would assume has some sort of mental health issues.  Normal rational thinking people don't do things like that.

Politics aside, anyone who fakes being a crime victim is really sick! It trivializes real crime victim's pain and suffering. She should have the books thrown at her. Make her attend crime victims meeting groups.  :bird:

Was it ever revealed how she got the black eye? Is that even possible?

Reminds me of Audry Seiler, a U of Wisconsin student who faked her own abduction back a few years ago.

I was rather suspicious of the veracity of the claim when I first read about it.  I am not in the least surprised that the alleged victim has since recanted or at least changed her story.

It looks like she has had her 15 minutes of fame.  Too bad they are going to end up being negative minutes.

For a lot of people there is no such thing as negative fame.  Either way it works out for her, either her story is believed and she gets lots of sympathy or she is thought to be mentally ill and she gets lots of sympathy.

Point taken.

She didn't have a black eye today, I'd assume it was makeup.  Her eye wasn't all swollen as I would think a recent black eye would have been.
